The “7th Siam Paragon Bangkok Royal Orchid Paradise” is held under the concept of “Amazing Orchids of the Nation” to honour HM the Queen’s 81st birthday anniversary.

The orchid is a national icon, and orchid cultivation is an industry of international standing.

nine species and 120 types will be featured : Vanda and Ascocenda; Cattleya; Oncidium and Cymbidium; Paphiopedilum; Phalaenopsis; Renanthera, Aragnis, Mokara; genuine orchid; orchid hybrid

Committees consist of orchid experts who consider the plant’s overall presentation, colour and petal formation, shape of flowersize, thickness and texture of flower, quality and form of flowers of and size plant. winners of the contest contest will have a trophy from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, cash prizes and certificates.

Activities : June 7 from 4pm to 7pm : workshop on decoupage
June 8 and 9 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm : workshop on flower decoration

there will be as well an exhibition of orchid paintings + sales of orchids and garden equipment at discount prices.
